Trendsetter Tuesday: Jade Thirlwall

If you know me (and the chances are if you have been directed here from Facebook or Tumblr you will) you will know how much I LOVE the Little Mix girls. And their style. so the first Mixer girlie I chose, was the adorable 20 year-old Geordie. That narrowed it down to two girls from that band then. Great.

But I’m talking about Miss Jade Thirlwall, renowned for her big hair bows and khaki parka that the girls have threatened to burn.

In the earlier days I can’t say I enjoyed her style all too much, I found it all a little childish and, quite frankly, strange. But I still found the odd outfit that I could see myself wearing. Although, this year has shown Jade completely change her style arround. Now sporting girly dresses, jumpsuits and heeled sandals, Jade has found her mature side and has started to dress for her age.

Here are just a few of my favourite Jade outfits.

ImageImageImageImageThere is something so refreshing about mature Jade, she looks so elegant without losing her personality in her style.

I think it’s safe to say that Jade’s new look is truly flawless (and she’s looking smokin’ whilst doing so).

Stay tuned in the next coming weeks for the other three Little Mix girls who are set to make a TT appearance.

Which LM girl’s style is your favourite?

Trendsetter Tuesday: Ashley Madekwe (Ashley-ringmybell)

I remember watching Revenge for the first time on E4 and being hooked from the offset. Each week my mum and I sat in front of the telly with our dinner and watched a healthy dose of a girl seeking revenge on those who framed and killed her father based on a crime he did not commit. We were hooked.

I also remember being enticed by the cool British girl with the gorgeous style and real accent. It’s not often Brit’s get to play themselves on US shows. Take Joshua Bowman for example, who plays Daniel Grayson on the same show as Ashley. A true Brit (one I crushed on all those years ago when he played the cute patient Scott, on Holby City) who plays an all-american, troubled little rich boy.

Anyway. Ashley Madekwe not only appears flawless on the show (save for the moments where you were so sure she was conspiring against, her friend, Emily too), her style and beauty are amplified outside of the ABC programme as well.

Once I found her blog, I was truly in awe (and may have developed a small girl!crush on the actress/style icon) and couldn’t tear myself away from it.

Take a look at the compilation of images I have sourced below.

(Image 4) I adored this jumpsuit so much the first time I saw it, I snapped it up quick in the sale once Topshop reduced the price. You can imagine how thrilled I am to know that Ash has worn this, right?

This must be one of my favourite outfits of hers, absolutely stunning and feminine. It’s a nice change from what we usually see Ashley wear, a stark contrast from her mostly black and red attire.

I love the amount of Topshop clothing she wears, she may throw the odd piece in with a pair of YSL heels and I think hat’s fantastic. There is nothing better than mixing high end and high street fashions, especially when you have the power that Ashley does with her strong following.

I may also be slightly in love with the amount of times we see her wearing heels. I really wish it was acceptable for me to live in them.

Trendsetter Tuesday: Mollie King

Where do I start with Mollie King? I have adored her style for this past year (and to be honest, I think I love virtually everything I have seen her wear in the past X amount of years). I love her elegance, both as a person and style-wise, she’s so feminine and well put together. She is simply darling.

If you don’t know her from a fashion standpoint then, you can find her singing in the British female pop-group, The Saturdays.

This a small collation of images I put together on Polyvore. As you can see, Mollie likes to wear dresses, shorts and skirt quite a lot, showing over her endless legs and show off her petite figure. But she can literally pull off anything she wears.

Her airport style never fails to amaze me, it is casual enough without losing her beauty and style, and she still looks like a million dollars.

I personally love this and I’m desperate to re-create this!

article-2464107-18CA0BD100000578-257_634x1076The thing I love and apprecite about this outfit is how mature it is, whilst being slightly edgier for the Saturday’s singer. The colours are not a mixture that it usually seen on here but she manages to work it like she does everything else. Simply stunning.

I adore the mixture of grey and white with the shoe colour pop. This season I really adore white, grey, black and lime green. It’s simply divine.

If I strive to be like anyone (once I stop looking like a fifteen year old), it would have to be Mollie King.

What are your favourite Mollie outfits?

Trendsetter Tuesday: Caroline Flack

Say you what you want about Ms Flack, just don’t say anything negative about her to me. Why? I really adore her. And her style. She may have become notorious for her younger-than-most track record of boyfriends, but her style proves that she’s one foxy lady, and truth be told, why wouldn’t the young guys be after her?

I don’t remember the exact point when or the outfit that enticed me, but it happened somewhere along the way and I’m positively hooked. One thing that excites me about her is the lack of trousers we see her in, on the street (now now) and at media induced events. I’m sure her mother told her to flaunt what she has, and gorgeous pins are definitely one of her assets.

Caroline doesn’t just turn up to events looking the bee’s knees, but she looks fabulous in her wellies at a festival and in her wedges walking down the road.

Below are some of my favourite outfits I have found from the 34 year old Londoner.

Her event outfits are gorgeous, a little bit cheeky but tremendously sophisticated. I think she hits the right side of classy.

Trendsetter Tuesday: Julie Sarinana (Sincerely, Jules)

This weeks trendsetter comes in the form of Julie Sarinana (after an elusive game of ‘ibble obble chocolate bobble‘ in Photography class), more commonly known in the fashion and blogisphere as Sincerely, Jules.

I remember back in 2011 when I started to frequent Instagram again, I found Jules’ account, and despite having no clue who she was, I proceeded to follow her for her pretty posts and fashion ideas. It was only earlier this year that I realised she was a well known style blogger. It would appear that I’ve always been clued in, eh?

What I adore about Julie’s style is how divinely flawless it is, she can work the most casual look in a way I haven’t seen before. She rocks a leather dress and Nike trainers for pete’s sake!

Since starting this blog, I have started to stalk follow other bloggers very closely to see how their style varies and I feel that Jules is a great example of someone with a mixed style.

The last image shows Jules wearing the white Zara skort which I actually adore so much. That was a major style blogger craze over this past summer and Jules was actually one of the reasons I purchased said skort but in the black colour as it was a versatile piece to dress up or dress down. I haven’t found anything yet that it doesnt go with.

Her style is so diverse but cute and quirky, she seems to be able to make anything and everything work. I’m truly envious of her but look up to her all the same.

I’d love to hear your thoughts on whose style you love.

Trendsetter Tuesday: Eleanor Calder

After spending so long seeking fashion advice in the form of internet photographs of people I have deemed my ‘style crushes’, I decided I should showcase my favourite outfits from the people who inspire and interest me. Each week I’ll explore the style wonders of some of my favourites and perhaps the ways they have influenced the way I wear things and items I have bought.

This weeks ‘Trendsetter Tuesday’ is dedicated to the person that basically started my love for fashion (and Topshop) and broke my healthy bank account. Thanks El.

Welcome Miss Eleanor Calder, the wonderful, beautiful and stylish girlfriend of,  my favourite boybander, Louis Tomlinson.

Whilst her style can be relatively simple, I think she always manages to look stunning and flawless. It’s always a bonus that she mostly dresses from the High Street too, you can’t go wrong with Topshop and Zara pieces, they’re a lot more affordable than high end pieces.

I have found myself buying quite a few items that I have seen her wearing this year simply because they were versatile and affordable enough and, truth be told, I really couldn’t resist. I maybe blame El for me spending £75 on the Topshop Katz too, I’m unhealthily obsessed with her outfit from the Topshop Unique A/W13 show.

Needless to say, I owe a lot to this girl for being my style inspiration since the beginning of 2013 and for giving me the chance to find my home with in fashion and a passion that is now very strong.

Join me next tuesday for the next installment of Trendsetter Tuesday.

Who are your style icons?

Peace and Love xox

Welcome to the world of Choies.

I’m sure at this stage you’ll know, especially if you follow my tumblr blog, that I spend many a night trailing the depths of Polyvore to find the right items to express a kind of style I adore. Often it can take hours of page turning and category searching until I have found enough pieces to create a sufficiently adequate outfit that I’d be confident to post.

However, a couple of days ago I spotted a jumper I simply adored. Thankfully Polyvore are informative and helpful enough to have the brand website in the information box that shows when you hover over an item. That website was Choies. I won’t lie and say I was a frequent visitor of that website, because I wasn’t. I’d never heard of it.

Here is the sweater I am hoping to purchase soon! (x)

After stumbling upon this website, I began searching the categories and clothes to find a few items I quite fancied and was pleasantly surprised to adore quite a substantial amount of cute clothes.

Instantly, I was drawn to the header ‘BLOGGER WANTED’, and curiosity took hold of me, forcing me to click the link. I was surprised to find the Fashion Programme which can give bloggers the opportunity to receive Choies items in exchange for promotion on their blogs. I thought the idea was truly superb so I took a few moments to sign up.

I really recommend you guys doing the same, it’s most definitely worth applying to see if anything comes of it.

I also took few minutes to compile a couple of sets of items I really liked from their webstore.

Overall, I really enjoyed finding out about Choies and I hope to buy from there in the future.

Check Choies out here (x)!

(Please click the link and have a look to help me try and become a Choies blogger. It will only take a second :))
